Ufondu Kitchen, a brand of Ufondu Holdings LLC, is a beloved Albany dining destination founded by Obinna Nwagboso, who established the region's first dedicated African and Caribbean restaurant. With a loyal following built on signature dishes like Jollof Rice, Fufu with Egusi Soup, and authentic Suya, Ufondu Kitchen has proven there is tremendous demand for authentic Pan-African cuisine in the Capital Region.

The name "Ufondu" carries deep cultural significance rooted in Igbo tradition, meaning "love" or "affection"—reflecting the care and passion infused into every dish. Now located at Colonie Center Mall (Space #326), Ufondu Kitchen brings proven operational expertise and culinary authenticity to a high-traffic, modern environment designed to serve 6 million+ annual mall visitors while honoring the loyal customer base that has grown with us over the years.
